Mission Australia Housing provides social and affordable housing to vulnerable Australians ensuring they have access to good-quality housing that enables people to participate in their communities.
Your Opportunity
This is a rewarding career opportunity where you will successfully provide general support to all integrated service delivery with a client focus to all housing operations.
Your key responsibilities will be to:
- Support all tenancy functions as needed across the team, including housing, maintenance and community development.
- Complete a range of administrative tasks to support MA housing team by adhering to MAH policies and backfilling leave.
- Maintain high quality up-to-date tenant files
- Assist tenants with queries, questions or concerns.
- Review and support KPIs such as arrears, inspections and vacant property processes in line with policy and procedure.
- Triage incoming calls, log maintenance requests through the MAH systems, ensuring accurate data information for service performance and improvement.
- Build and maintain effective working relationships with external stakeholders and other professionals as required.
- Actively contribute to developing and implementing strategies that connect tenants to additional support.
- Demonstrated experience working with vulnerable client groups
- Community housing experience, Real Estate or Community Services experience regarded but not essential
- Demonstrated excellence in customer service and conflict management
- Ability to work under pressure with multiple competing priorities.
- Relevant qualification in social or community services
- Experience with Microsoft Office products for reporting
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Current Drivers’ Licence, WWCC are essential
