Operations/Project Coordinator

Surfacing Contractors Australia is an Australian owned and operated company operating in the commercial landscaping sector. Our clients include Local, State and Federal Government, Private and Public schools, Landscape Builders and Tier 1, 2 & 3 builders.

Position: Due to increasing demand and company growth, we are seeking an Operations/Project Coordinator to become part of our team, assisting in our overall project success. You will be based out of our Geebung Office reporting directly to the General Manager, providing hands-on support to the wider group on project establishment, project financial performance, purchasing as well as admin and support services.

Primary range of duties includes:

• Planning/Scheduling.
• Procurement.
• Day to day activity working from the field and the office.
• Keeping track of project milestones and critical requirements.
• Managing subcontractor relationships.
• Minuting of project meetings.
• All support administration for the team.
• Understanding and commitment to WH&S procedures.

Skills and Experience:

• Project Coordination/Operations experience preferably within the Landscaping or building industry.
• Attention to detail.
• Sound communication skills.
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, including Word and Excel.
• Experience working within a project management/operations environment.
• Experience in assisting with creating and updating Project Documentation.
• Ability to use initiative and successfully resolve problems.
• A high degree of interpersonal skills would be an advantage.
• Manual Drivers licence required.
• White card and Working with children clearance essential.
• MR truck licence would be an advantage.
