We are seeking an experienced machine operator at our cable manufacturing facility based in Dee why.
We are a business that strives towards a safe working environment, successful candidates will need to demonstrate a safe work ethic and have a strong understanding of the definition of a safe work area.
To be successful you must hold a current NSW Forklift License.
Role requirements:
Strong safety awareness and understanding of policies and procedures
Experience driving a forklift
Good communication and literacy skills
Use of basic metrology tools i.e. Vernier calliper, micrometer
Basic Mathematics
Basic PC skills
Complete required batch documentation records
Ability to work unsupervised
Attention to detail and ability to make sound quality decisions
Flexible with shifts
Dayshift 6am-2pm
Afternoon – 2pm-10pm
Nightshift – 10pm-6am
Beneficial Skills:
Experience with extrusion or high-speed automation
High mechanical and technical aptitude.
Cable manufacturing experience
