Your role
Reporting to the Site Supervisor, we have an opportunity for a Production Operator to join our Yarraville site. We are looking for a dedicated, hardworking go-getter with a positive attitude to contribute to the safe and efficient day to day operations of the site, including the manufacture, batching, blending and mixing and storage of various chemicals.
Your responsibilities
Fill chemical products into the required containers as per daily and weekly plan to meet customer demands
Load and unload trucks, pack shipping containers and maintain inventory levels to meet customer needs
Assist with safety investigations, raise incidents, and ensure corrective actions to prevent recurrence
Operate the plant, including bulk dispatch/receive process according to site operating procedures
Use of technology to manage maintenance, dispatch, and SH&E reporting
Report and investigate plant performance and operational problems
Your skills & experience
Experience working in a fast paced chemical processing plant or warehousing environment would be great, however not essential
Safety Focussed mindset
Experienced with safe handling of dangerous goods particularly corrosive chemicals
Forklift license with relevant experience
Proficient in computer use such as Microsoft Office, along with literacy and numeracy
Ability to work in fact paced environment and great team player with a positive attitude for ongoing learning and development
Fault finding and problem-solving skills
Enthusiasm, dedication, and motivation with the ability to create a positive work environment and a focus on safety

In this role, you will undergo periodic medical testing, random drug and alcohol testing to ensure fitness.
