The City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder are seeking 2 enthusiastic and motivated individuals responsible to the Supervisor Civil Maintenance and Construction for undertaking task and duties to achieve a high standard of presentation of the Streets, Verges, Back Lanes and Drainage systems and ensuring that they are maintained to an exceptional standard in accordance with the objectives and requirements of the Council.
Our ideal applicant will be a self-motivated worker who is reliable, be able to work autonomously, carry out tasks in an efficient manner, and have an outstanding safety record in the workplace and takes pride in producing excellent results.
To be successful you must have good communication skills, be a team player, obtain the relevant qualifications and/ or experience in Civil Maintenance and have the relevant licenses and tickets to operate plant and equipment safety.
You must have a minimum of HR class licence and White card.
Key responsibilities:
- Operate a variety of plant and equipment associated with the day to day maintenance of Council’s facilities;
- Inspect structures and amenities and report any damage and hazards to the Supervisor promptly and make safe as instructed;
- Assist with any customer enquiries promptly, and project a helpful and positive image for the City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder;
- Pre-operation inspections and routine maintenance of all plant and equipment;
- Assist with construction projects and maintenance works as instructed;
- Implementation and maintenance of a safe working environment, promoting duty of care and a strong focus on safety.

Remuneration will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Salary ranges between $64,324 - $68,018.
