Wilmar Sugar & Renewables have an opportunity for enthusiastic people to train on their stations.The Boiler Assistant Operator is responsible for the safe operation of turbines across the Boiler station. They will work closely with the Boiler operator to ensure that the station maintains reliable, safe and effective operation. As part of this training the right candidate must be eligible for and achieve a turbine operator ticket.This training position is more than just a job - it is an educational experience and the start of an exciting and rewarding career. You will enjoy hands on training, with a variety of tasks and exposure to some of the challenges that come with producing Raw Sugar. The aim of this fixed term contract is to gain valuable job knowledge and become experienced in our operational teams.Specific RequirementsThe successful applicant must be able to demonstrate the following:
- Be excited about training in the sugar industry and obtaining new knowledge
- Be eligible to work shift work
- Work effectively within a team environment
- Work safely and look after the safety of others
- Communicate effectively
- Be able to provide regular and accurate feedback to Operations Coordinators on a station performance and quality issues
