  • Primarily based at Yarra Ranges Health
  • This is a total of 29.5 hours per 4-week schedule

We provide a range of emergency, surgical, medical and general healthcare services, including maternity, palliative care, mental health, drug and alcohol, residential care, community health and state-wide specialist services to people and communities that are diverse in culture, age, socio-economic status, population and healthcare needs.About the roleWe are looking for a highly skilled and dedicated Ophthalmic Surgeon to join our highly functioinig team at Eastern Health.About youTo be successful in this role you will possess:
  • Must be a registered medical practitioner in the State of Victoria
  • Must have significant clinical experience, with experience and training in Ophthalmic Surgery including wide experience in cataract and oculoplastic
  • Must hold a Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Ophthalmologists (FRANZCO), or hold equivalent qualifications to enable recognition as a specialist Ophthalmology Surgeon
  • Must participate in relevant college continuing education programs particularly related to Ophthalmic surgery
  • Highly developed interpersonal and leadership experience
  • A strong commitment to high quality care
  • The ability to work as part of a diverse team
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
