Job Description:
Are you ready to be a part of an exciting and dynamic Team? At PWR, we specialize in manufacturing and assembling high-end components using a variety of hand and power tools and machinery. We are seeking motivated individuals with a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and a desire to build or advance their career in an advanced manufacturing environment. We are looking for a talented Graduate Mechanical Engineer who is ready to build an exciting career with us. This role will work within out Bar & Plate manufacturing area. This is predominantly a ‘hands on’ based role assembling tubes. However you will also have the opportunity to get involved with exciting R&D work as we look to continuously improve our production processes. Ideally you will have some exposure to working with SolidWorks as there will also be some design work involved. This is a full time permanent position.
Hours: Monday to Thursday 7:00AM-3:00PM and Friday 6:00AM-2:30PM.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar
- Experience with SolidWorks
- Commitment to safety, quality, and excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to read and interpret documentation and basic detailed drawings.
- Use of basic hand tools.
- Relevant experience is highly regarded, but not essential.
- Must be able to work unsupervised at times and effectively in a team environment.
- Must have the ability to sustain concentration during repetitive processes.
- More importantly, your positive attitude, strong work ethic, willingness to learn and flexibility is what makes you stand out.
