AddressSpecsavers Canberra is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join team as an Optical Assistant. Our work environment is varied, with each day bringing something different, so we will value those who can adapt quickly.
Optical Assistant experience is a major bonus but not required. We pride ourselves on providing a caring and friendly service, so customer service experience is beneficial. This exciting role will see you involved in the whole customer journey from meeting and greeting, to using the latest pre-testing equipment through to styling and dispensing lenses specific to customers needs and lifestyle. You will need to be a good problem solver and enjoy working in a busy retail environment.
Our supportive team are highly motivated and work well together and we will provide comprehensive on the job training and e-Learning.

Skills and experience:
The successful candidate will have a rewarding career with Specsavers and will possess the following skills and experience:
- Optical dispensing qualification experience will be highly desired, but not essential.
- Previous experience in the optical industry or in a fast paced retail industry
- A self-starter who enjoys variety and a busy environment
- Excellent verbal and written skills with strong attention to detail
- The ability to build genuine and supportive relationships with colleagues and customers
