Strathalbyn Eye Care is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our team as a Sales Assistant / Optical Dispenser. Located in the beautiful township of Strathalbyn SA, our small, independent practice prioritises comprehensive clinical care for the community and offers a selection of quality eyewear.

About the Role:

As an Optical Dispenser / Sales Assistant at Strathalbyn Eye Care, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality eyewear services while providing exceptional customer experiences. Your responsibilities will include providing professional, friendly, and efficient reception service and general practice administration, such as appointment booking and payment processing, as well as assisting patients in selecting quality optical frames and lenses and ensuring that the delivery of patient orders and sundry items are timely and accurate. Additionally, you will be involved with maintaining good housekeeping within the practice, and for candidates with dispensing experience, the role will also include stock management and selection.

About You:

We're looking for personable individuals with excellent communication skills. Prior optical industry experience and/or a Certificate IV in Optical Dispensing is very desirable. Whether you have a background in optical dispensing or relevant experience in customer service or in health settings, we're open to training motivated candidates who are passionate about eyecare through the industry recognised Certificate IV in Optical Dispensing.
