Form of workWe are a busy optometry practice looking for a reliable and friendly Optical Receptionist to join our team. Hours are negotiable but we would ideally prefer full-time including some Saturday morning shifts. The ideal candidate will have a passion for exceptional customer service and a willingness to learn.
Responsibilities:
- Greeting patients and answering their inquiries in person, over the phone and via email
- Scheduling appointments and managing patient records
- Performing pre-testing tasks and conducting initial screening assessments
- Assisting patients in choosing eyewear
- Maintaining a clean and organised reception area
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in an optometry office is preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficient in computer skills and comfortable using office software
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- A positive and professional attitude
