Optical Receptionist Rockhampton/Yeppoon
We are seeking a reliable, diligent and enthusiastic Optical Receptionist to join Moore Eyes.
As an Optical Receptionist you will be required to provide exceptional customer service, have a strong work ethic, be able to multi-task, ability to show accurate data entry and be well presented. Training will be provided in store as we work a little differently to most, we partly work in a medical environment as well as retail.
The job description is as follows.
- Greeting and managing our patients with a professional, compassionate and friendly manner whether on the phone or in person
- Managing our computer system, making appointments, confirming appointments, invoices, receipts and entering data with the utmost efficiency
- Providing professional advice on the selection and delivery of glasses, previous experience is not necessary as we will provide training in store.
- Inwards and outwards of stock
- Managing emails inward and outward in a professional and efficient manner
Moore Eyes is a locally owned business located in Rockhampton and Yeppoon.
This position is casual but has the potential of becoming full time. We are offering a casual position with a couple of days a week, fill in when needed and cover of holiday and sick leave for full time employees, including Thursday night to 6.00 pm and Saturday mornings 8.45-1.00 in a roster system.
We see people from the very young to the elderly, so compassion, patience and enthusiasm are invaluable qualities.
General computer skills are a must, it would be an advantage if you had some experience in sales, money handling and telephone skills.
Fashion meets science in the optical industry so there is a great scope to learn new skills.
The successful applicant would be required to work at both our Yeppoon and Rockhampton branches.
