Optometrist

Our busy family optometry practice (Eyecare Plus Cranbourne, Victoria) has been serving the Cranbourne and wider community for over 45 year, and now we have an exciting opportunity for a full time Optometrist to join our team.

The successful applicant will be replacing the founder of the practice, David, who retired after 47 years of service to the Cranbourne community.

About The Role:

• Graduate or experienced Optometrists are welcome to apply 
• Full scope Optometry (children and adults)
• Manage chronic conditions such as keratoconus, myopia, dry eye, glaucoma, diabetes, macular degeneration & co-management of neurology patients form Monash Hospital 
• Co-management with Ophthalmology, Neurology and GP's
• Use of state of the art technology to assist with your consultations 
• Our practice is a referral centre for advanced contact lenses, primarily Keratoconus. 
• Salary commensurate with experience 

Skills/Requirements:

• Be comfortable working with advanced equipment (OCT, Optos, Topography, VF, IPL)
• Experience or a real interest in the following is advantageous: 
  • Advanced contact lenses, ortho-K, corneal and scleral rigid lenses for Keratoconus 
  • Dry eye 
  • Myopia control 
  • Paediatric Optometry
• Display a high level of personalised patient care that our family owned practice is renowned for
• Have a strong ability to multi-task and work harmoniously in a close knit team
