About the engagement:
Green Light Australia are looking to engage an Oracle DBAs to maintain and support production environments within our Database technologies division. The nominated Oracle DBA will require a minimum of five (5) years’ experience as an administrator of Oracle databases in production environments. As an experienced Database Administrator, you will be involved into data migration implementation with providing further indexing, recommendations and optimisation.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute policies, practices and procedures that properly manage the full data lifecycle needs
- Ensure data currency, availability to users, and the protection of that data from loss
- Applying approved data updates, data protection (backups), availability, distribution, migration, warehousing, management, replication, redundancy, and security.
- Oracle RAC and Dataguard, SQL Server Clustering, MySQL Replication and/or other Cluster methodologies/technologies
- Performance analysis and tuning.
- Medium to advanced level Linux sh/ksh, PL/SQL and/or TSQL coding skills
- Experience supporting database environments (SQL & Oracle)
- Established technical environment which encourages technical improvement and diversity
