One of Australia's most progressive Federal Government departments are looking to engage a highly skilled Oracle Developer with a good understanding of Oracle database technologies to join their team. You will be responsible for providing Oracle performance and optimisation advice, analysis and solutions for technical system requirements. The role can be based from Melbourne, Sydney, Canberra or Brisbane as they have offices in each state as well as remote work. The successful Oracle Developer will be offered a 3 month contract with a 3 month extension option.
The successful Oracle Developer will be responsible for, but not limited to:
- Optimising the Oracle database by identifying performance issues and proposing solutions
- Delivering changes to existing capabilities by analysing requirements
- Performing impact analysis for proposed solutions
- Reviewing other designs for performance implications
The successful Oracle Developer will have experience in the following:
- Advanced knowledge of Oracle databases and Oracle SQL
- Demonstrated experience with Oracle database 11g and Oracle database 19c
- Experience with Linux, Java or Azure DevOps
- Experience in optimisation and performance tuning of Oracle databases
