We are seeking a highly skilled Oracle Database Developer / Data Engineer with a robust background in designing, implementing, and managing complex database solutions.
You will bring a deep understanding of Oracle database technologies, combined with a proven track record of leveraging Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) and Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE) to deliver high-quality data integration, ETL processes, and business intelligence insights. You must have a keen eye for innovation and efficiency, they are adept at deploying cloud-based data solutions across leading platforms such as Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), and Azure ensuring scalability, security, and cost-effectiveness. You will also have strong analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and commitment to excellence making them a valuable asset in supporting Solutions Architects to develop and optimize database routines that drive program success. Essential to the role will be your effective collaboration style and highly effective communication skills, which will enable you to bridge technical and business domains to deliver data-driven solutions that meet strategic objectives and operational needs.
Responsibilities Include but not limited to:
- Developing and maintaining robust database systems, including schema design, stored procedures, queries, and Scripts for data manipulation and retrieval. Ensure high performance, security, and scalability of database systems.
- Utilise Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) to design and implement ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes that integrate data from various sources into a cohesive and efficient architecture.
- Optimise data flows to improve performance and reliability and support the development of reporting and analytics solutions using Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE).
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their data needs and deliver insightful, actionable reports.
- Leverage cloud technologies for data storage, processing, and analytics.
- Experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), and Azure is desirable. Implement and maintain cloud-based data solutions, ensuring they are scalable, secure, and cost-effective.
- Work closely with the Solutions Architect and other team members to support the development and implementation of database routines and data strategies.
- Provide technical expertise and recommendations to improve program outcomes.
Essential criteria

- Business Intelligence and Reporting: Support the development of reporting and analytics solutions using Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE).
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their data needs and deliver insightful, actionable reports.
- Have excellent Problem-Solving Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively.
- Must be able to provide efficient and scalable solutions to meet business needs.
- Have Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
