One of Australia's most progressive Federal Government departments are looking to engage a highly skilled Oracle Developer with a good understanding of Oracle database technologies to join their team. You will be responsible for providing Oracle performance and optimisation advice, analysis and solutions for technical system requirements of the Oracle systems. The role can be based from Melbourne, Sydney, Canberra or Brisbane with flexibility working from home. The successful Oracle Developer will be offered a 3 month contract with a 3 month extension option.
The successful Oracle Developer will be responsible for, but not limited to:
- Optimising the Oracle database by identifying performance issues and proposing solutions
- Delivering changes to existing capabilities by analysing requirements
- Performing impact analysis for proposed solutions
- Reviewing other designs for performance implications
The successful Oracle Developer will have experience in the following:
- Demonstrated experience and advanced knowledge of Oracle Database and Oracle SQL and PL/SQL.
- Demonstrated experience with Oracle database 11g, Oracle Forms and Reports 11g, Oracle database 19c, Oracle Forms and Reports 12c.
- Demonstrated experience in optimization and performance tuning of Oracle databases and applications integrating with these databases.
- Demonstrated experience working with Oracle databases that service both native Oracle applications and non-Oracle applications.
