AddressBrisbane Smiles has a position to add to our team with an Oral Health Therapist or Dental Hygienistin our state-of-the-art dental practice for an immediate start. The position works closely with our Dentists to provide our patients with high quality, exceptional Oral Hygiene and Oral Health Therapy for Children and Adults.

Our team will provide you with a mentorship and support as necessary for your experience level along with developing your skills across many digital technologies including Trios Scanners, Digital Intraoral Radiography, CBCT and Digital OPG Radiography, Nikon Cameras, Intraoral Cameras and NSK Varios Combi Pro/EMS Airflow.

Prior to starting you will need to be
Registered as a OHT/Dental Hygienist with AHPRA
Hold a Qld Intraoral Radiation License
(Extraoral CBCT and OPG of benefit)
Provide evidence of vaccinations appropriate for working in healthcare
About the Role
- Permanent Part-time or Casual
- 1 - 3 days a week (7:30am to 6pm)
- No weekends and no late nights

Our Dental Hygienists provide services including:
Adult and Children regular cleans, intraoral and extraoral radiographs and periodontal debridement, along with diet, decay and oral hygiene management/ counselling, Intraoral and Extraoral Photographs, In-chair (Pola and Zoom) and Take Home Whitening, Trios Digital Teeth Scans and Alginates for records, mouthguards, whitening trays, support restorative care of dentists.
Oral Health Therapists are able to provide services within their scope of practice.
Brisbane Smiles Clinical Hours required for this position
Weekdays, 1-3 days
A typical work day is 7.30am to 6pm (5pm on a Friday). Patients are 8aam to 5:30pm. Roster hours are 30 minutes prior and after clinical start and finish times. There are no weekends, and no late nights. You will work 1-3 days during the week and be on a casual or permanent employment basis.
