About the role:
Our Brisbane Distribution Centre (SFC) in Bundamba is located approximately 35km from the centre of Brisbane and is often referred to as BDC. The BDC is home to one of our three largest DCs, and has a front office for our state-based teams. BDC packs and distributes retail and pharmaceutical products to Queensland and northern New South Wales using road and air transport contractors. The BDC team is 170 people strong with 150 from our distribution centre team and the remaining 20 are from our state-based teams which include teams from our Pharmacy Business Development, Priceline Pharmacy, and People Team.

What you'll do:
As a key member of the leadership team, you will oversee the fulfilment of customer orders by strategically planning and coordinating activities across multiple departments. Your responsibilities include optimizing staffing levels to meet service and cost KPIs, developing and training team members for peak performance, and maintaining a safe working environment.
Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will actively manage and collaborate with the Fulfilment team, fostering a culture of proactive engagement and optimizing outcomes. Your focus on safety and people is paramount, with a commitment to achieving key performance metrics while prioritizing the well-being of the team. By contributing to site safety efforts, promoting a positive work environment, and ensuring compliance with company policies, including payroll obligations, you will play a vital role in the success of our fulfilment operations.

What you'll bring:

• Demonstrated experience in an FMCG leadership role.
• Proven ability to use data and experience to identify and solve problems.
• Strong leadership skills, capable of managing change effectively.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
• Understanding of key drivers for team success and continuous improvement.
• High School Certificate and/or Business/Management/Logistics qualification.
