This Statutory Authority helps to enhance the lives of Queenslanders and is truly invested in a customer-first approach. Due to internal movements, our client is now seeking an Organisational Development Specialist to join their team on an initial contract until the end of August 2024.
The Role
Reporting through to the Manager of Culture and Capability, you will be responsible for coordinating OD initiatives to increase leadership and organisational capability to support the businesses strategic priorities. Specifically, you will:
- Spearhead and oversee programs enhancing organisational outcomes and nurturing a culture of excellence;
- Drive leadership development, performance management, and inclusion and diversity efforts.
- Deliver engaging training sessions virtually and in person to large groups;
- Conduct research, consultations, and policy development, boosting organisational capability and business performance;
- Integrate project management and development methodologies to deliver impactful solutions;
- Utilise evidence-based approaches to measure outcomes and drive continuous improvement;
- Prepare comprehensive reports and briefings on learning and development matters;
- Cultivate strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to champion high-performance initiatives;
- Manage and report on online training programs, ensuring their effectiveness; and
- Stay abreast of multimedia and design training tools to enhance online development modules.
About You
You will have experience developing and facilitating learning and development programs as well as developing strategic work plans for a business. You will also have experience in a similar position, ideally within a State Government department. You will be proactive, pragmatic and resilient in style, with a strong focus on providing an agile and customer-centric service to your client group.
