Senior Organisational Development Specialist
About the Role
The Senior Organisational Development Specialist at Youi will play a pivotal role in shaping and enhancing crucial frameworks to drive performance, engagement, and talent development, facilitating sustainable growth and tangible business outcomes.
We're at the initial stages of establishing Organisational Development frameworks and practices, offering an opportunity to influence and mould our approach from the ground up. There's a fine balance between evidence-based methodologies and practical application tailored to our unique context at Youi. We seek someone who can envision the big picture while pragmatically bringing initiatives to fruition.
Working closely with experienced and diverse P&C business partners, you'll collaborate to deliver impactful outcomes through strong relationships.
To excel in this role, you'll need exceptional relationship-building skills, adept facilitation abilities, a systems-thinking mindset to address root causes, and experience in performance, talent development, culture, leadership, and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) initiatives.
Key priorities:
- Lead performance activities and enhance tools for accountability.
- Design talent programs and succession plans for growth.
- Develop strategies for a diverse, inclusive culture and measure progress.
- Engage employees in diversity initiatives and report findings.
- Implement Youi’s culture and leadership capability frameworks to support growth and culture development.
- Assist in designing and delivering core leadership and teaming programs, including workshop facilitation and psychometric assessments.
- Analyse data, stay informed on best evidence-informed OD practice, consult stakeholders, and conduct organisational assessments to identify and build fit-for-purpose OD solutions.
- Build relationships and collaborate to solve business challenges.
Ways of Working
Ideally, we prefer someone at our Sunshine Coast headquarters, but we're also considering Fortitude Valley. Our hybrid model requires office presence Tuesday to Thursday at either location, with on the flexibility to work remotely on Mondays & Fridays. If in Brisbane, some commuting to headquarters will be necessary due to most leadership facilitation occurring there.
About You
Ideally, you will have:
- An education or background in Organisational Psychology, Organisational Development/Human Resources, Business, or equivalent field.
- Experience in Organisational Development roles (5+ years is a general indicator).
- A proven track record in designing, implementing, and evaluating successful OD programs.
- Effective facilitation and presentation skills, demonstrated across diverse operational and professional audiences.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, fostering effective collaboration at all organisational levels.
- The ability to translate organisational goals, and business problems into actionable and practical OD initiatives.
