Elizabeth Grove Primary School is seeking an organised, caring and passionate Assistant Director, who is committed to providing high quality care for the children who attend our OSHC. This role will work closely with the director to manage the sessions and admin load of running an OSHC with a particular focus on IT systems and service policies. Applicants must have the ability to lead the staff team with the director, carry out administration tasks and manage some sessions as the Responsible Person in Charge in the director’s absence.
This permanent part-time position for a minimum 20 hours per week will require the Assistant Director to work a selection of before school care 6:30-8:30am and after school care 2:30-6:00pm shifts plus admin time.
Desirable knowledge and experience:
Sound leadership, operational and financial management skills
ICT skills to navigate systems linked with OSHC
Ability to relate well with children, families and staff
Knowledge of the NQF and MTOP
Knowledge of the CCMS and Children Services Award
Required Qualifications:
Diploma or Degree level qualification as approved by ACECQA
First Aid qualifications as approved by ACECQA
Responding to Abuse and Neglect training
Criminal History Screening
