We are seeking passionate and enthusiastic Early Education professionals for casual Co-Educator roles at Our Place (OSHC) in the Sheldon College Early Learning Centre.
We have multiple shifts available, making this role ideal for someone studying Early Learning or Primary Education. We offer morning and afternoon hours.

The Role
Our Co-Educators play a very important role at the College. No day is the same in this variety filled and dynamic role. Your main duties will be supervising and interacting with the children, setting up activities and ensuring each one of our families feel welcome at our Centre.
Under the guidance of the Lead Educator or Kindergarten Teacher and the Centre Manager you will work in a specific aged room and provide the supportive learning journey for that age group under the College’s values of Love, Laughter and Learning

About you
You are passionate about early education with a collaborative style and ability to work positively, both autonomously and as a team with the leaders and teachers in the rooms and centre.
You have great communication skills and administration skills to communicate effectively with the children, families and colleagues alike with a commitment to ensuring the best outcomes for all children in the centre always.
You will hold:
- Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent); or
- Currently be studying Bachelor Early Learning or Primary Education;
- Current Emergency First Aid Response in an Education and Care Setting certificate or will obtain;
- Current ACECQA approved Anaphylaxis and Emergency Asthma Management Training obtain;
- Valid Blue Card or the ability to successfully obtain;
- Accredited Child Protection Training
- Monday - Friday availability or availability as per the above rosters indicated.
- Available to attend required after hours paid educator training/meetings (up to 2 per term).
We will consider both new to industry and experienced candidates. For those new to industry commencement and successful completion of the Certificate III and other accreditations if successful is a mandatory requirement.
