Telopea Park School Out of School Hours Care (TPSOSHC) is independently run by the P&C Committee of the School and with a new and supportive Leadership Team onsite every day, there will be opportunities for growth and development in a close-knit team that are looking to continuously improve in a supportive and flexible environment. We offer before and after school care, extra curricular activities and holiday programs. Due to the ongoing growth and development of TPSOSHC and the programs we provide to the families of Telopea Park School; we are looking for enthusiastic, experienced team players to build the capacity of the Leadership Team. The Role
We are recruiting for multiple positions that will link together to create a holistic and supportive leadership environment to develop and deliver continuous improvement to the families and community of Telopea Park School.
Roles can be either part time or full time. While we are looking for people to share their passion and will build an inclusive leadership framework around those who shine through the application process, you could reasonably be expected to:
- Lead and support the administration for the Before School, After School Care programs and Extra-Curricular Activities.
- Be responsible for back office administration.
- Foster strong and positive relationships with families, educators and the school.
- Support and coordinate enrolment, booking and payment processes including liaising with external providers and contracted service providers with respect and high levels of communication.
- Maintain high levels of professional and sector specific knowledge to ensure ongoing currency, compliance and accountability.
Successful applicants will:
- Be considered a ‘First Qualified Educator’ in line with ACT regulatory requirements;
- Hold a current ACT Working With Vulnerable People registration card, or be willing to apply, once successful;
- Have demonstrated experience in educational leadership, administration, program delivery and/or staffing management;
- Be able to manage their time and priorities with consideration and initiative;
- Show outstanding written and verbal communication skills and the ability to build professional rapport quickly; and
- Be willing to be an identified Nominated Supervisor as needed.
