AddressWe are looking for a high performing Overhaul Manager who is results oriented, driven by excellence, change agent and deliver strategic objectives. You will join our Industrial and Energy East team and focus on the relationship building, technical solutions and further developing Downer’s business within the Energy Industry. As an Overhaul Manager you will be reporting directly to the Alliance Manager located in Brisbane.
You will provide leadership, ensuring all employees and contractors are aware of their ZH obligations and all activities are completed in accordance with company policies, procedures and specific client requirements where applicable
ABOUT THE ROLE
- Foster and maintain a collaborative, inclusive, high-performing, and client-oriented culture of continuous improvement
- Proven ability to plan, mobilise and deliver significant programs of work including Overhauls and Outages on operating sites
- Install effective decision-making and communication mechanisms so that all project personnel are aware of the project's objectives, plans and schedule.
- Monitor and Report on the performance of the Overhaul/outage against the agreed KPI regime
- Communicate regularly with your teams and celebrate success
- Ensure lessons learnt and project review findings are actioned and shared with your team, estimators and peers
- Identify high quality growth opportunities for I&E by engaging with the Future Energy leaders
- Establish and maintain a strong working relationship based on trust and mutual respect with stakeholders
- Solid understanding of the commercial and legal issues impacting the business and delivery of contract
- Manage effective Zero Harm and Critical Risk to comply with relevant legislation, standards, and Codes of Practice
ABOUT YOU
- Tertiary qualification in Engineering/Commerce with extensive experience in a similar senior role
- Sound technical knowledge of, and demonstrated skills in interpreting and applying maintenance and project management solutions to the Power Generation industry
- Strong commercial acumen, contract and financial management combined with proven change and people management experience.
- Demonstrated business partnership skills including strong stakeholder engagement, negotiation and influencing skills to achieve positive outcomes for the Downer Group
- Focus on implementing and maintaining safety culture
- Highly developed communication skills with strong interpersonal skills
