The company is now offering Overnight Sleep Technician roles on a casual basis located at Campbelltown and/or Glenelg and we are looking for enthusiastic, hard-working and committed people who are keen and ready to grow with us. About You :

The potential candidate should ideally possess:

• A background or studies in medical/life sciences
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage with customers and patients while maintaining a high level of professionalism and being respectful towards others
• Efficient and effective organization and time management skills with advanced computer literacy
• A positive approach and mindset, with an ability to work independently and/or in a team
• Self-starter and problem solver with an attention to detail
• Good analytical mind, with sound common sense and ability to apply logic

Position Summary :

This role is responsible for carrying out and facilitating sleep studies through the use of appropriate treatment solutions in line with CLM’s product and service model, at assigned client site. Working under the directive of the Team Leader or Lab Manager in applying the theories and concepts from biological, natural, behavioral sciences and risk management in accordance to SOP as set out by the sleep lab and CLM Sleep Co. As an Overnight technician, the incumbent will undergo the necessary training in order to prepare for the full responsibilities of an Overnight Sleep Technician and to be able to perform the role efficiently and effectively. Upon achieving full competency and satisfactory work performance, this role will progress to Level 2 or 3 depending on candidate qualifications and experience.

Key Requirements :

Essential

• Minimum 1 year work experience in any field
• Must be available to work night shifts (overnight at lab) on a 12 hours shift, and also for setup shifts as and when required, on an ongoing capacity
• Attend training in preparation for the role
• Reliable with an ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
• Fully vaccinated to be able to work within a healthcare setting

Desirable

• Experience in a similar environment as a Sleep Technician
• Experience working in pharmaceutical industry, dealing with sleep apnoea products and solutions
• Possess customer service or front line support experience
• Knowledge of other common sleep pathologies and disorders

Job Responsibility :

The key role and responsibilities for the position includes:

• Performing sleep study set ups and overnight studies on patients in lab as and where assigned by CLM, within reasonable travel distance
• Educate patients on sleep disorders & treatments, performing overnight computerized sleep monitoring of patients and CPAP titration overnight at the assigned sleep lab
• Ensure work is performed in accordance to the standards and processes as set out by CLM, and to abide by the lab policy governing all staff while on client premises
• Efficiently and effectively carry out assigned duties and tasks in a timely and orderly manner, abiding by the protocols and processes at all times
