ABOUT THE ROLE
Every service Smartways provides leads to a positive outcome for patients. To enable the best service possible and ensuring we make a difference to these patient lives, we are seeking an Owner Driver in Perth.
Although it’s a fast paced and varied no two days are the same, a typical day will see you:
- Collect and deliver medical items on time
- Liaise and build relationships with customers (existing and new)
- Proactively manage the return of loaned medical goods
- Prepare freight for transport via third parties
- Inspect, pick and pack customer orders with accuracy (when required)
- Hunt out opportunities to grow sales with both existing and new customers.
WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- Our ideal candidate will jump at every opportunity to deliver an excellent customer experience.
- You have exceptional knowledge of the Perth region and therefore know the fastest route from pick-up to drop-off
- You have excellent work ethic and understand the importance of working together as one team
- You’re comfortable with technology and know your way around a computer/ phone
- You’ve got excellent customer service skills and treat each job with great care
- You’re available to work between the hours of 7am to 7pm Monday to Friday (adhoc weekend work).
WHAT TOOLS ARE REQUIRED?
- Own a late model 2- 3 tonne white vehicle (or be prepared to purchase one)
- All insurances (Vehicle, Public Liability, Marine Cargo etc)
- A clean drivers license and criminal record
- Have the legal right to work in Australia
