Packer-Wholesale Bakery Patisserie

Le Cake is a premium quality wholesale bakery & patisserie manufacturer supplying Brisbane's best Cafe's, Clubs, Restaurants, Hotels and Caterers.  We pride ourselves on quality, consistency and our undying devotion to remaining true to the art.

We are seeking an afternoon to evening shift Packer to join our Packing team.  This position is Casual with an average of 15-20 hours per week.  The start time is 4.30pm until finish which is usually between 9.00 & 10.30pm.

Our packing team play a pivotal role at Le Cake ensuring our premium quality fresh pastry and savoury products are professionally packaged with care for our next day customer distribution.

This position would suit a person who is mature, diligent, detail focused and reliable.  This position involves quite strenuous physical activity and would suit fit and motivated individuals.

Ideally you will have experience within a food manufacturing environment and the following are essential requirements of the role:  

• previous food handling and hygiene experience
• able to work within a team environment
• strong work ethic
• ability to work well under pressure
• attention to detail
• strong literacy and numeric skills
• the ability to perform duties in a physical environment
• ability to adhere to Workplace Health and Safety regulations
• an understanding of HACCP food safety system

Your own reliable transport is a must as there is limited public transport available at night.

The successful person will be given all relevant training required and must be available to start immediately.
