Our Manildra Mill, in Central West NSW is the largest flour mill in Australia. This mill grinds wheats to produce a full range of flours tailored to the needs of our customers, both domestically and in many export markets.
We are seeking dedicated individuals for our Packing Department in Manildra, NSW to ensure all aspects of the packing process are conducted in accordance with customer and food safety requirements and to meet demand.
The role will involve shift work and flexibility from successful applicants is a must as the plant runs 24 hours a day, 365 days of the year.
The role will involve:
- Ensuring duties are conducted in a safe manner at all times
- Packing product in accordance with customer specifications and delivery requirements
- Safely operating plant and equipment associated with packing operations
- Quality control, efficiency, and continuous improvement strategies
- Obtaining, testing, and recording samples during production
- Maintaining quality processes while working in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment
- Identifying areas of improvement across the work area
To succeed in this role you will
- Have a Proficient safety record.
- Demonstrate organisational skills to meet strict deadlines.
- Be able to work shift work across a rotating roster, including weekends
- Possess the ability to perform your tasks in a team environment
- Have effective communication and interpersonal skills
