Address Pickers & Pruners Labour Hire Pty Ltd are currently looking for enthusiastic and motivated people to join our fruit picking and Packing Shed teams. We are looking to recruit 5 people starting in mid-July 2024. Work will be for six to nine months, working around citrus orchards and Packing Shed around Waikerie, Riverland West. Candidates should be motivated and a quick learner. Picking work is always outdoor very physical and exposure to different weather conditions. You will be required to work in the Packing Shed. This is an indoor work but demands a lot of physical fitness. The work involves lifting weights, standing and moving around, requires a lot of concentration and teamwork. There will be on-the job training provided and the potential for upskilling.
Successful candidates will be required to work in a range of weather conditions, use of ladder and can work quickly with accuracy and maintain quality standards. Working hours are flexible, averaging 30 hours a week. Working hours are from 8am to 4.30pm, Monday to Friday. Successful candidates will be offered employment on casual basis. Remuneration offered will be based on the Horticulture Award 2020.
