What You Will Be Doing
The Registered Nurse (RN) within the Paediatric Emergency Nursing Post Graduate Program is a valued and integral member of the Peninsula Health multidisciplinary team demonstrating flexibility in caring for patients and their families across the organisation.
The Post Graduate (PG) student works competently within their scope of practice to deliver safe, evidence-based care to achieve optimal health outcomes or dignified death. Clinical support is provided by expert clinical staff and educators guiding students to apply theoretical knowledge to practice. Experience is gained from working 3 days a week in the paediatrics area of ED.
Throughout the program the student is expected to deliver specialist nursing care at the level of a developing learner commensurate with the level of knowledge acquired through practical experience and academic knowledge. The Post Graduate Student is expected to work closely with the Learning Hub team to meet all requirements of the program.
What You Need
We anticipate you will have:
- A minimum of 12 months post registration experience
- Meet the Essential Criteria listed on the Position Description.

- Please refer to salary circular for NURSES AND MIDWIVES (VICTORIAN PUBLIC SECTOR) (SINGLE INTEREST EMPLOYERS) ENTERPRISE AGREEMENT 2020-2024 for salary range. Sub-grading will be based on years of experience.

Selection Criteria Essential: Registered Nurse (Division 1) with a minimum of one year's experience in the specialty area as a Registered Nurse
Essential: Current restriction free AHPRA registration.
