Active OT for Kids is a unique trauma-responsive sensory gym that weaves the knowledge of neuroscience with the cultural aspects of country.
We are seeking a permanent a part-time Occupational Therapist Assistant (Saturday work) to join our tribe. We are looking for someone who values a family like practice, adventures, being outdoors and connecting to nature, diving deep into neuroscience, changing things up, and bringing connection and play into each moment.

Our services include: Camp Reset (taking kids off grid to get back on track), walkabout for teens and juniors, surf therapy, sensory integrative and trauma-responsive intensive therapy, integrative school support, and sensory gym meets bringing the outside in one on one therapy.

Our Occupational Therapy assistants receive fortnightly mentoring, weekly team training and program guidance from a specialist Occupational Therapist. A wonderful opportunity for an Occupational Therapy student or a qualified allied health assistant.
The role requirements are: one on one therapy following a program, collaborative services with schools & health professionals, creative group therapy & working within a family like team. Regular specialist support.
We appreciate initiative whilst providing cutting edge training & support. This role supports not only clinical growth it encourages personal growth as well.
Our practice has been custom built to include environmental & equipment aspects to support the needs of clients & our tribe (including a play kitchen, zen den, swings & lofts & an Omni Cube - only one in Australia)!
