We seek a Paediatric Occupational Therapist on a fixed-term contract, offering flexible hours and part-time options.
About the role
We are currently seeking two Paediatric Occupational TherapistsGrade 1 or 2 for our Melton Health Hub, a key component of a $21 million facility dedicated to offering the City of Melton comprehensive access to top-tier community health, mental health, and family services—all conveniently located under one roof. Woking within paediatrics services, you will:
- Provide high quality evidence based paediatric services to meet the needs of vulnerable children and their families
- Use the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule (ADOS) tool as part of a comprehensive evaluation process for individuals suspected of having autism
- Support individuals in accessing National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) services where appropriate
- Work in a multidisciplinary team, including Paediatricians, Psychologists, OTs, Social Workers, Physios, and Allied Health Assistants
- Empower young people and families to achieve their goal
Selection Criteria:
To be successful, you should:
- AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist
- Previous experience working as an Occupational Therapist in a paediatric setting.
- Experience in undertaking assessments with paediatric clients and developing individual
intervention and program plans based on assessments
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
