The purpose of this position is to perform Respiratory Function Investigations and Allergen skin prick testing as requested. The position requires the ability to work as part of a team in a busy clinical environment and manage high workloads. Problem solving skills and an ability to work, and communicate, with children is required.
The position includes participation in all laboratory Quality Assurance programs, some administrative work, assisting in policy and procedure documentation and a commitment to professional development in regards to all aspects of lung function testing.
- BSc, BExPhys or equivalent
- Experience working in a busy clinical environment
- Demonstrated experience communicating with children and parents.
- Familiarity with Paediatric Respiratory function testing
- Computer literacy and familiarity with Medical software
- Previous experience working in Research and/or Quality activities (optional)
- Commitment to professional development
- Experience communicating effectively with a Multidisciplinary team, including Doctors, Nurses and Physiotherapists.
