We’re looking for a Speech Pathologist to join our team ideally to start at end of June/early July 2024. Full time and part time options available to suit early career or experienced clinicians.
We’re a well-established, thriving multi-disciplinary paediatric practice and are looking for a positive and motivated Speech Pathologist to join our team of 11 therapists.

You will also receive team support including joint sessions with OTs in our sensory gyms, and will join SP and multi-disciplinary team meetings.

What the role involves:
- Working with private and NDIS clients
- Working in clinic, community, school environments.
- Option to provide Telehealth services
- Providing individual and small group sessions
- Planning and delivering therapy groups during the school holidays
- Providing joint therapy sessions with occupational therapists in our sensory gyms. Expand your understanding of and ability to support children with sensory and behaviour challenges
- Providing assessment and evidence-based therapy across a range of speech pathology areas including early intervention, speech, language, literacy, Autism, fluency and feeding
- Writing assessment and review reports including reports for NDIS
- Working in a wholesome family environment

What you must have:
- Recognised degree in Speech Pathology
- Registration with SPA with CPSP credentials
- Visa working rights for Australia for at least 12 months
- Current Working with Children Check and Police Check
- Drivers Licence and own vehicle
- Minimum 1-2 Years clinical SP paediatric experience
- Excellent organisation, time and case management skills
- Excellent written communication skills
- Effective and confident communication skills and ability to develop strong rapport with children, parents, teachers and carers
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Commitment to evidence based practice and professional development.
What’s nice to have:
- Experience working with children with complex needs including Autism
- Early language intervention, articulation and phonology, stuttering, and social skills experience highly desirable
- Formal training in therapy approaches such as PROMPT, CUED articulation, Lidcombe Program, Keyword Sign, Hanen training, DIR/Floortime, literacy interventions
- Experience working within preschool and school based environments
- Experience working with a family centred treatment model.
