Are you our Speech Pathologist? 🎓We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and passionate Speech Pathologist to join our well-established speech pathology team across our campuses. This unique role, based within our mainstream early learning centres provides speech pathology services to children aged 0-5 years.
In this role you will utilise your knowledge of speech and language identification, assessment, intervention, and evidence-based practice methodology to provide high-quality speech pathology programs to children and their families within the early education setting.
You will also:
💬 Conduct speech and language assessments and deliver evidence-based individual and group interventions
💬 Collaborate with and support The Grove Academy centre directors and educators in each service through consultation, training, and professional training
💬 Support centre directors and educators to develop enriching environments and resources that promote children's speech, language, emergent literacy, and social/emotional development
💬 Build positive relationships with families through effective communication and frequent face-to-face contact
💬 Communicate regularly with staff and families about children’s goals, strategies, and outcomes using customised technology
💬 Engage in the ongoing evaluation of children’s programs
We use a Response to Intervention model, working across three tiers to provide holistic services to children, their families, the education environment, and education staff.
This role is supported by a Lead Speech Pathologist and a growing team of Speech Pathologists who will work in collaboration with you.

The important bits…As the successful applicant, you will be a Speech Pathologist that has:
🎓 Bachelor of Applied Science (Speech Pathology) or equivalent
🎓 Membership of Speech Pathology Australia (or eligible for membership)
🎓 A positive, warm, and confident personality
🎓 Clinical interest in the provision of speech pathology services in early childhood settings
🎓 Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
🎓 A commitment to the access and participation of vulnerable children
🎓 Working with Children Check and National Police Check
