Paid Search Manager

 

Magic believes that numeracy is the key to combating global misinformation. Our key to solving this lies in our in-house mathematics, data analysis and free-thinking expertise to help quantify the root cause of problems and challenges…we just happen to buy media.

Key responsibilities:

  • Create and execute tailored paid media plans for a diverse clientele of renowned household brands.
  • Implement search processes where required to help the performance team run efficiently
  • Optimize campaigns to help businesses scale with a data first approach
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and internal stakeholders.
  • Drive client strategies across Google Ads, Microsoft and Amazon Ads
  • Lead client WIPs to report on performance and provide insights/learnings and recommendations.
  • Stay ahead of Search updates and ensure the wider team are up-to-speed with all major opportunites

This role as Paid Search Manager sits in our Performance Team. You will report directly to an Account Director and will help manage a team underneath you. You will, however, still be in the platforms flexing your Paid Search skills on the reg.

 

The successful candidate will be data-driven, and data-led and know the Search platforms inside out. They will have a significant amount of experience managing large media spends in platforms across a range of enterprise clients - bonus points for large eCommerce retailers with silly amounts of SKUs.

 

3+ Years of Platform Experience:

You have 3+ years of experience in high-performing Paid Search accounts - with your hands in the dirt, driving incredible, data-driven results.

 

Enterprise/High-Budget Accounts: Experience managing millions of dollars of spend is critical. This matters because you have set processes in place to manage, scale and perform - and you can build, manage and optimise complex accounts with multitudes of budgetary levers.

 

Datability:

You understand the inner workings of the platforms, but you also know how to export data, clean it, translate it and apply it to your critical thinking and problem-solving skills. 

 

Team Management:

You have managed a team and know how to delegate and upskill your team members while ensuring your work gets done. Seeing your team grow, progress, and hit its goals gets you off.

 

Other Platform Experience:

You bring expertise that goes beyond Paid Search. This may be affiliates, native, content or CRO.
