We are looking for a new Shop assistant to join our wholesale counter sales team. This role would suit a young professional looking to grow their knowledge within the automotive paint industry, or a spray painter who is looking to put down the gun and share their experience & knowledge to assist others.

Your Duties would include

• Greeting our customers and assisting them with product selection.
• Provide service and support to our retail customers
• Build strong relationships with trade customers in store
• Advise customers in store and by phone on Paint products and accessories
• Collaborate with colleagues on the latest solutions and new products
• Work in the team to share and develop cross-functional knowledge
• Tint paint products to customer requirements
• Colour match paint to customer requirements 
• Assist with in-store displays, store presentation and house keeping
• Maintain stock control through cycle counts, etc.
• Process orders through our POS system as required

What you need to have to be successful in this role

• Strong people and customer engagement skills
• A genuine desire to deliver outstanding service a
• Point of Sale (POS) system knowledge or appropriate tech-savvy
• Numeracy skills sufficient to perform POS transactions and comprehend tint percentages/ratios
• Effective time management and planning capability
• The ability to follow instructions and work effectively unsupervised
• Capacity to perform manual tasks e.g. lifting of 20 litre cans of paint.
