About the Role
Premier People are seeking experienced INDUSTRIALSPRAY PAINTER Blasters for our upcoming FIFO Mining shutdowns
Recieve a $250 Bonus after you 1st successful shutdown
Fri 17 May - Tue 21 May
Mon 27 May - Fri 31 May
Mon 10 Jun - Fri 14 Jun
Key responsibilities include:
- Mix paint and other materials according to specification or formula
- Monitor machine gauges and equipment operation to discover defects/deviations from standards, and make necessary adjustments
- Identify and separate non-conforming parts or materials and report them to Team Leader
- Utilize spray gun and apply paint in conformance with all specifications
- Employ heat or oven paint drying techniques for special purpose finishes
Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications
- Previous experience in spray painting
- Working at Heights Ticket
- Working In Confined Spaces Ticket
- Gas Atmosphere Testing Ticket
- White Card
- Trade qualification in spray painting preferred
- Eye for detail and quality
- Great team player, who understands the impact poor quality, rework & missing the deadlines will have on other workstations
- Must be able to Pass D&A and Medical
