We have an exciting opportunity for someone to join the team based at our Ingleburn site managing pallets. We are looking for a team player with a great attitude, ability to multi-task, someone who strives to achieve targets and who is prepared to get in and get the job done. This is a busy role for someone who likes to get involved, sort queries, and who is passionate about pallets and admin.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Liaising with internal/external customers and contractors to ensure an efficient and effect service
- Performing weekly administrative tasks, scanning, and filing of pallet paperwork
- Checking and data entry of pallet transfers
- Coordinating and maintaining equipment control of Chep and Loscam pallets including Issues and de-hires
- Resolving pallet rejections, discrepancies and ensuring accuracy
- Ensuring pallet systems are up to date and managed weekly
- Monitor pallet accuracy of outbound in inbound consignments
- Weekly pallet reconciliations
- Provide education and support to the warehouse team members on pallet processes and procedures
- Prior experience in logistics and demurrage highly advantageous
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
- Must be computer literate and proficient using MS Office applications (Word, Excel and Outlook)
- Sap ERP experience
- 2IC experience highly regarded
- A positive attitude and passion for motivating a team
- Must have great organisation skills and attention to detail
- Previous pallet control experience highly regarded
