What you'll do
Performing daily operational activities within the Melbourne National Distribution Centre related to ULDs (pallets, roll cages, crates, produce bins, etc).
Collaborating with DC operations, vendors, and transport providers, you will troubleshoot on time and accurately, striving for continuous improvement of the workflow
Ensuring minimised loss of ULD equipment throughout the end to end supply chain process, applying and actively supporting a 'zero tolerance' policy for unnecessary expenditure and inefficiencies.
Maintaining well-documented and effective administrative processes around equipment control, contributing to the efficiency of the overall operation.
Safety First: Uphold safe work practices, promoting safety policies and procedures on an ongoing basis.basis
What you'll bring
A 'Can do' attitude & demonstrate a proactive approach to problem-solving, contributing ideas for continuous improvement
Knowledge of pallet control processes and systems within the transport
Experience in Administration or Office roles in Retail Supply Chain, desirable
Intermediate Excel skills, with the ability to adapt to new systems quickly
Strong attention to detail, accuracy and follow through
Strong customer service, administrations & organisational skills
Previous ULD reconciliation skills within the Supply Chain industry, desirable
