Pallet Repair Operator

They pride themselves on providing a safe, engaging, diverse and supportive team environment. They are seeking enthusiastic Pallet Repair Operator to join their team in Erskine Park. This is a casual role with full-time hours available as long as required.
Job Description: The client receives wooden pallets from your warehousing/ logistics companies. Your job will require you to assess and repair any broken pallet that come through the factory. The client will put you through a 5-week paid training course regardless of your prior experience where they will teach you how to use nail guns, grinders, drills, saws, hammers, pretty much any tool to repair these pallets per the client's specifications.
The Role
- Assessing and subsequently repairing wooden pallets using a hammer, lever bar and pneumatic nail gun and grinder.
- Manual Handing up to 10kgs.
- General housekeeping.
- Basic use of computer navigation systems.
- Adhering to safety, health & environment policies, and procedures

- Be reliable and physically fit in general
- A strong commitment to safety
- Excellent attendance and employment record
- Pass drug & alcohol screening and full medical assessment
- Possess a current driver's license and have access to a reliable vehicle
