As one of our Paper Sales Customer Service Team Members you will play a pivotal role in our relentless pursuit of best value whilst providing outstanding Customer Service along the way!
The Role
Based in our Essendon Fields Office and reporting to the Operations Manager - Global Paper Sales, you will have national responsibilities for the provision of quality Customer Service across all paper products and would have an integral role within the supply chain function.
This is busy and highly varied role whereby you be kept challenged by tasks through Customer Service as well as managing customer relationships effectively and in line with Visy Values.
Your key areas you will be responsible for will be but not limited to:
Provide customer support via email and telephone
Processing of orders, returns, cancellations etc. within the company’s internal system
Action monthly invoicing requirements
Co-ordinate and paper plan deliveries to domestic and export customers.
Liaise closely with internal and external stakeholders ensuring customer orders are manufactured and packed to customer specifications.
Become main point of contact with customer for the progress of orders through the manufacturing and logistics processes
Maintain a strong emphasis on relationships, communication, pro-activeness and the ability to prioritise customer and internal requirements
In order to be successful in this challenging role you will:
Have solid experience in Customer Service (within the manufacturing, logistics or corporate environments will be a huge advantage)
Possess exceptional communication skills to establish meaningful relationships with internal and external customers
Maintain a high level of accuracy in all activities coupled with a strong team attitude
Be a highly motivated, driven and organised individual who thrives within a fast-paced environment
Need to love detail! High level attention to detail is a must in this role
Experience in manufacturing, logistics or corporate environment
Demonstrated business change & improvement capability
