As a ParentsNext Support Mentor at Bamara, you will be an integral part of our team delivering the program top our participants. This Permanent - Part Time position offers a unique opportunity to make a positive impact within the community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing personalised support and guidance to parents in the ParentsNext program.
- Conducting comprehensive assessments to identify individual needs, strengths, and barriers.
- Developing tailored plans to assist parents in achieving their education and employment goals.
- Delivering workshops and training sessions on topics such as parenting skills, career development, and financial literacy.
- Collaborating with external service providers to connect parents with relevant support services.
- Maintaining accurate records of client interactions and progress towards goals. Main Tasks:
- Build rapport and establish trust with parents to effectively support them through their journey.
- Utilise strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with participants from diverse backgrounds.
- Keep abreast of changes in government policies and community resources that may impact program participants.
- Work closely with a team of professionals to ensure seamless delivery of services and holistic support for parent

Experience in providing support and guidance to individuals from diverse backgrounds
