About the Role
The role is required to enforce parking and related regulations through effective patrolling and surveillance of car parks and streets in the Bayside LGA by detecting breaches of the relevant Acts and Regulations.
To conduct some patrols, Council uses mobile and fixed licence plate recognition cameras throughout the Bayside LGA.
You can also expect to:
- Issue warnings and/or penalty infringement notices in accordance with Council’s enforcement policy.
- Obtain vehicle owner information from Roads and Maritime Services as required, to facilitate the issuing of penalty infringement notices.
- Present evidence in Court in relation to enforcement action instituted by Council.
- Promote the positive and collaborative culture and values of the organisation through open, fair and transparent decision making and ethical, professional behaviour.
- Work in collaboration with and assist the team, manager and other key stakeholders to achieve business unit goals, work requests, demands and Council priorities.
About You
We are looking for someone who has:
- Minimum school certificate and/or experience in a relevant field.
- Current Driver’s Licence Class C.

Salary Range: From $58,972.38 - $66,048.92 per annum, plus 20% margin allowance, plus 11% superannuation
