Job description

As an Open Spaces Labourer, you will use your skills and experience to undertake labouring activities for the Parks & Gardens, Sportsfields, Tree and Bushland Management teams to maintain Council's open spaces throughout the city.
Our ideal candidates will have a positive work attitude, be reliable team players with a commitment to Work, Health & Safety.
Located at the Services Depot in Oak Flats, the Open Spaces team are inclusive and supportive in providing a range of services to our 4C's (Community, Councillors, Customers and Council).

  • Permanent full time position, 38 hours per week
  • Temporary full time position, 38 hours per week for a period of 12 months
  • Commencing salary range from $1,012.93 - $1,074.93 per week (dependent on qualifications and experience)
  • 9-Day fortnight, enjoy a work life balance
  • Plus Adverse Working Conditions Allowance
  • Plus 11% superannuation
  • Casual positions, commencing hourly rate from $33.32 (including casual loading)
