Are you passionate about preserving natural beauty and enhancing outdoor spaces? We're seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as Parks Workers. As a Parks Worker, you'll play a vital role in the day-to-day operations of parks, natural areas, roadside vegetation, and landscape improvement activities.
Responsibilities:
Execute operational activities to ensure the efficient and effective maintenance of parks and natural areas.
Undertake landscaping tasks to enhance the aesthetic appeal of outdoor spaces.
Operate and maintain various machinery and equipment used in gardening and landscaping activities.
Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a secure working environment.
Qualifications, Training, and Licenses:
Essential:
White card
Certificate II in Horticulture.
AC/DC commercial operator's license unrestricted class.
Medium Rigid (MR) driver's license.
Desirable:
Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C, and Tetanus immunization - may be essential if assessed as high risk.
Additional mechanical and handheld gardening equipment licenses (e.g., Ride-On Mower).
Plant Operating tickets.
Traffic Controller's certificate, Chain Saw, pole saw, chemical application certificates.
