The Opportunity
The Domain Country Club is a resort-style retirement living community set amongst 42 acres of beautifully landscaped and picturesque gardens, conveniently located in the leafy suburb of Ashmore. As our Bus Driver, you will enjoy being out on the road, facilitating bus trips for the residents to shopping centres, local attractions, events and other places as requested. You will ensure that all safety standards are exceeded and that resident satisfaction is maintained. The ideal candidate will enjoy spending time with our residents, be professional and deliver excellent customer service to help ensure our residents are safe!
This new opportunity is a permanent part-time opportunity working 27.5 hours a week - Monday 8.15-1pm, Tuesday 9-3pm, Wednesday 8-3.30pm, Thursday 9.30-3.30pm and Friday 8.15-1pm.
You will
- You will complete bus journey trips for our residents to local community attractions and places of interest
- Assist passengers with on-boarding and off-boarding of the bus and assist with any luggage/shopping they have
- Take ownership of the minibus and ensure it is clean, safe and all compliance checklists are completed
- Adhere to all OH&S policies and procedures (e.g incident reporting)
- Be available to assist residents and Community Leaders with adhoc tasks as needed
What you will bring
- Valid LR Drivers Licence (required)
- Current First Aid & CPR Certificate completed in last 12 months (or be willing to obtain prior to employment)
- Current Police Check (required, but we can complete for you!)
- Professional and able to demonstrate an empathetic attitude to the needs of residents
- Two COVID-19 Vaccinations
