The role

We are seeking a part-time team member to join our operational team, providing essential support and assistance to our students and agents while managing operational tasks efficiently and ensuring compliance standards are met.

As part of our Operations team, you will engage with students and agents through various channels such as email, telephone, and social media, ensuring they receive excellent support and service.

We are looking for someone who possesses strong problem-solving skills and enjoys working collaboratively in a team environment.

This role requires individuals who thrive in a structured environment, managing information and tasks effectively while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. While experience in an RTO environment is beneficial, previous experience in student support or first point of contact roles is essential.

Your role will involve:

  • Acting as point of contact for students.
  • Assisting in operational and administrative tasks as assigned by supervisors.
  • Liaising with both team members and students
  • Managing information in college’s systems
  • Managing and following up on students’ progression
  • Looking after the physical facilities of our campus
  • Updating / managing Canvas Learning Management System (LMS)
  • Data entry in Xero financial system

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have the following:

  • Above all, this role requires precision and attention to detail
  • Availability for prompt commencement
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in administration or customer service
  • Experience in roles focused on supporting students or customers
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Experience using Learning Management Systems and Student Management Systems
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • A qualification in Business / Administration is advantageous
