The Role
We are looking for 2 Permanent Part Time Personal Care Workers or Support Workers for (AM,PM and night shifts) who are passionate about a person-centred approach to care, to join our 96-bed facility in Rockhampton. It is essential that you understand residential aged care environment and standards and have a high level of empathy and compassion for our residents. 

The Location: Rockhampton, Queensland, offers an exceptional lifestyle with its warm climate, welcoming community, and stunning natural surroundings. With easy access to the Capricorn Coast, residents enjoy paradise for outdoor enthusiasts, including beaches, the Great Barrier Reef, and lush national parks. The city boasts a strong local identity, a vibrant cultural scene, and a diverse economy for a balanced and fulfilling lifestyle.

What you will do:

• Positive resident experience through resident-first approach
• Personal care is provided in accordance with each resident’s needs and preferences.
• Completing care documentation, including progress notes and daily charts
• A collaborative, team approach
• Manual handling of residents is undertaken safely and correctly
• Feedback and incidents are reported
• Safe, high quality care is provided in accordance with the Aged Care Quality Standards
• Assist residents with ADL's

Who are you and what will you bring?

• Minimum Cert III in Aged Care (or enrolled in same) - MANDATORY
• Experience in providing daily care and activities to clients
• Currently hold and maintain a NDIS Worker Clearance (or willing to obtain) - MANDATORY
• Current and valid working rights in Australia
• Be passionate about delivering a person-centred approach to care
• Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills

Employment Details:

• Contract Type: Permanent Part Time Contract
• Hours: 30 - 50 Hours per Fortnight
• Days available: Monday - Sunday
• Salary Range: competitive Hourly rate (Depending on experience) + 11% Superannuation+ NFP salary packaging + allowances
